about liz...By day, Liz Cramer is a mild-mannered engineer. By night, she is a caped crusader of creativity. The common thread, problem-solving, unites her dual identities.
Liz studied Civil Engineering at Michigan State University. When she graduated she began working as an engineer in the public sector of transportation. Her engineering experience has cultivated critical thinking and problem-solving skills. These skills help her to tackle challenges in a methodical and effective way, from technical engineering problems to more creative pursuits. When she is not working, Liz is an avid collector of side projects. She enjoys helping friends and family with visual design projects - small logos, T-shirt designs, posters, presentations, portraits, brochures, book covers, and concert programs. Working on these projects has driven her to pursue more training and knowledge. This journey has led to some great discoveries about the field of design, and how it is not so far from the engineering discipline she calls home. Liz is also a cellist, a master road-tripper, an Argentine tango fan, an amateur photographer, a journal writer, a Pictionary wizard, and a traveler whose trips have taken her to Russia, the Czech Republic, Spain, England, Germany, France, Italy, and many places in the United States and Canada. She currently lives and works in Juneau, Alaska. |
